PROJECT SCOPE

Brand refresh – logo, stationery, signage, apparel

With a 73 year history in Marlborough of panel repair and restoration, Russells are a well known and respected paint and panel shop in central Blenheim.
Malc Russell approached us to take a look at the brand which was over a decade old. Rebrand vs refresh? A refresh was perfect for this business as they intended to roll out the updated look over time. Preserving familiarity but evolving the brand was achieved by retaining the original R/P symbol but updating to a more current typestyle and tweaking the colour palette.

Central to the project is the change of the tag line to one that resonates more with the long family and community history and the genuine social culture at Russells.

This history component led to the design and creation of a vintage stamp style logo, which has been incorporated into the brand but is secondary to the commercial look. It looks SUPER sweet in matt black decals on the loan car and workshop ute.
